Claremore Lake Park was developed in 1929 with the completion of the dam. Prior to 1929, this area was farm land and large rock bluffs with Dog Creek running through it. Dog Creek travels from the north and is the main feeder creek for the Lake. Located on 1200 acres off of East Blue Starr Drive, this is the perfect place for relaxation for the whole family.
Claremore Lake offers walking and biking trails, picnic areas, disc golf course, fishing, boating and coming in 2017 is a new splash pad!
Will Rogers Park
Will Rogers Park has a splash pad that's open from Memorial Weekend through the beginning of October, beautiful playground equipment, picnic pavilion and close proximity to the main hub of Claremore.
Claremore Mountain Bike Trails
Near Claremore Lake Park on the east side of town is a series of mountain bike trails. Enjoy several trail courses in scenic Claremore!
