Other activities and things to do while you are in town:

- Visit Shepherds Cross. This working sheep farm just north of Claremore on Historic Route 66 is a great place to see! They have the Shepherds Shop, a quaint country gift shop with hand made crafts from the farm, local & international artisans, picnic in the Bible Garden, watch the animals graze peacefully in the pastures of the farm and pet the FAB (Farm Animal Barn) crew, take an adventurous walk up the educational farm silo to view the farm museum with Farm equipment, Fiber equipment, Agricultural items from around the world, Veterinary Exhibit, and tour or stroll through the wool processing area where they take wool from the sheep raised on the farm and turn it into usable products.

- Stop by the JM Davis Gun Museum. This place is loaded with the world's largest privately-held firearms collection including more than 50,000 artifacts ranging from Old West saddles, steins, WWI posters and more! They'll start up monthly high noon Wild West Shootouts the first Saturday of every month in April.

-Hopefully it will start feeling like spring with warm weather and more time outdoors! Visit Claremore Lake to enjoy walking trails, fishing, playgrounds and more! You can put your boats and kayaks in Claremore Lake.

-Live horse racing at Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs starts back up in March! Take in some thoroughbred racing every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday in March and Monday, Tuesday and Saturday in April and May. Post time is 1:15 pm every race day.
