Claremore Lake Park was developed in 1929 with the completion of the dam. Prior to 1929, this area was farm land and large rock bluffs with Dog Creek running through it. Dog Creek travels from the north and is the main feeder creek for the Lake. Located on 1200 acres off of East Blue Starr Drive, this is the perfect place for relaxation for the whole family.

Take North Lynn Riggs Boulevard (Highway 66) to Blue Starr Drive. Travel east on Blue Starr Drive approximately 2 miles. Turn left into the entrance near the Water Treatment Plant.

Enjoy the walking/jogging trails that loop through Claremore Lake Park. All the trails are paved.

Boating and fishing are prime on Claremore Lake! Day and annual passes are available at the Lake Rangers Office.

There are picnic areas and pavilions scattered through the park. If you would like to reserve a pavilion for your next special event contact the Parks & Rec Department at (918) 342-2522.
There's a new splash pad open at Claremore Lake Park! It has fun water features for kids of all ages. The splash pad is open Memorial Weekend through Labor Day, 10 am-8 pm daily. It's no cost to enjoy the splash pad.
