Attend the five-time PRCA Small Rodeo of the Year over Memorial Day weekend. Performances will be held May 28 – 30, 2021. In celebration of our 75th year, rodeo festivities are more extensive than ever!
On Friday, May 21, the Cowboys 4Kids golf tournament will be held at Heritage Hills Golf Course. The following Thursday, May 27, is the annual Food Truck Thursday Downtown Hoedown, which officially kicks off rodeo weekend. An abundance of food trucks will descend on downtown Claremore, with food choices from wings and burgers, to pineapple whip and barbecue! Live music keeps toes tapping, and the shops are open late for your shopping pleasures. A kids’ zone ensures that even the youngest visitors will have a great time!
Also on Thursday is the Clem McSpadden Tub-Handle Classic Steer Roping at 7 p.m. at Stampede Park. Named after the great rodeo announcer and steer roper, Clem McSpadden, Thursday night’s event pays tribute to Clem and the many who are passionate about this rodeo sport. It’s a chance to see some of the best steer roping in the nation!
With a full program of events like barrel racing, mutton bustin’, and bull riding, the Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo is fun for the whole family! The kids will love Claremore’s award-winning rodeo clown, John Harrison. For ticket information and to purchase tickets online, please click HERE.
