Parking and Closures

A new parking plan and shuttle service has been added this year to accommodate expected record attendance. Due to limited parking on the rodeo grounds, guests are encouraged to use the free shuttle service, which will run from Andy Payne Track and the Robson PAC (101 E Stuart Roosa) nightly thanks to a partnership with Claremore Public Schools. Continuous service will begin each night at 5:45 p.m. and run until 10:15 p.m.

In addition, Lake Road will be closed to through traffic starting at 4 p.m. Friday through the duration of the rodeo. Please be mindful of these road closures when visiting Stampede Park or Claremore Lake.

Claremore Lake

Rated as a top attraction on TripAdvisor.com, Claremore Lake (on East Blue Starr Drive) is the ideal spot for family fun, with more than four miles of paved paths perfect for running, walking, and cycling. There are two playgrounds for the younger visitors, as well as five shelters, two of which are available for private rental through the Parks and Recreation Department. Throughout the park are tables and grills for public use. Claremore Lake is also home to the city’s newest splash pad, with indoor public restrooms adjacent. The park is clean and quiet, with plenty of green space for activities. While swimming is not allowed in Claremore Lake, fishing and boating are popular pastimes.
